Starter Units & Add-On Units

When ordering selective pallet rack it is important to know how many starter and adder units you need. Free standing starter units have two uprights and two load beams per level, times however many beam levels you want. Add-on units have only one upright because adder units attach to a starter unit sharing a common upright. Add-on units must be purchased in conjunction with starter units. A good way to look at it is a starter unit is required at the beginning of every row or whenever a row breaks.	Starter Unit	Add-On Unit
Example: A row of four sections of racking requires one starter unit and three add-on units.
